Description: Safe Kids KY is part of the global organization dedicated to preventing injuries in children resulting from motor vehicles, sports, drowning, falls, burns, poisonings, and more. Children with disabilities have a higher risk of unintentional and intentional injuries and this organization is willing to do in services to local, area or state organizations on how to prevent injuries and the loss of a child. Based on the needs of the community, this coalition implements evidence-based programs, such as car-seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics, that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.
